After photos of a topless Sienna Miller kissing a married man on a yacht surfaced, she has decided to go ahead and sue News International and Big Pictures.
The legal papers were filed at London’s High Court earlier this week.
She claims her privacy was breached after photos of the pair frolicking on a yacht off Italy’s Amalfi coast earlier this month were published by the papers - just days after the father of four, Balthazar Getty, the father of four, denied he was romantically involved with Miller.
Her lawyer, Mark Thomson, refuses to release any more info on the case, saying, “Neither I nor my client will be commenting further.”
On Monday, Getty finally confirmed reports he has split from his wife.
He said,
In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that, yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further.

Reports that Tom Cruise is set to reprise his role in a sequel to hit 1986 movie ‘Top Gun’ are false.
A spokesperson for Paramount - the studio behind Top Gun - says there is “no way” Cruise will be doing the project.
According to reports by Access Hollywood TV, Cruise’s spokesperson has confirmed the actor will not be returning for a sequel to the movie.
