Not blinking an eye as she transitions into life as a single mother, Ashlee Simpson took young son Bronx out to the 2nd Annual Annual Milk And Bookies Story Time Celebration in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon (March 20).

Recently separated from Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, the “Pieces of Me” singer made her way over to the Skirball Cultural Center venue while attending the good-hearted weekend get-together with her little one.

With other stars such as Jack Black, Rainn Wilson, Julie Bown, Josh Holloway and Jason Biggs in attendance, the Milk + Bookies event offers boy and girls “the opportunity to select, purchase and inscribe books that are then donated to their peers who do not have access to books of their own. The fun-filled events feature music, story time and, of course, milk and cookies.”

With the organization having been founded by Meredith Alexander in 2004, Milk + Bookies has the mission of “combining two essential and worthwhile efforts: literacy promotion and service learning. While the book donations are imperative to our mission, just as important is instilling the seed of giving into each host and their young guests, sparking feelings of importance, self-confidence and the desire to give and give again.”

Having arrived in the Big Easy on Friday afternoon, Angelina Jolie joined up with Brad Pitt for an outing with the entire family in New Orleans on Sunday (March 20).

The “Mr and Smith Smith” co-star couple each toted one of the twins, Vivienne and Knox, while Shiloh, Zahara, Pax and Maddox all along for the weekend stroll to Berti Market in the Louisiana locale.

As for spending time in New Orleans, Pitt is currently in the midst of filming the Andrew Dominik directed mob movie “Cogan’s Trade” alongside Ray Liotta and Sam Rockwell.

Meanwhile, Miss Jolie is easing into promotional mode as she and Johnny Depp’s hit movie “The Tourist” is set to be released on DVD this Tuesday, March 22nd.

Finally making her way to join up with her longtime partner, Angelina Jolie arrived in New Orleans with the brood on Friday afternoon (March 18).

The “Salt” star toted young Vivienne in her arms as fellow family members Zahara, Pax and Maddox shuffled out of a private jet one after the other.

The trip to the Big Easy comes as family patriarch Brad Pitt has been hard at work on a brand new movie.

The “Fight Club” stud has assumed the lead role as Jackie Cogan in the Andrew Dominik directed mob picture “Cogan’s Trade” – which co-stars Sam Rockwell and Ray Liotta.

Given her successful acting career as well as that of her husband Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes has grown accustomed to being away from home.

The “Dawson’s Creek” darling recently shared a trick she uses to help her daughter Suri feel more comfortable during times of travel.

Katie explained, “Bring lots of crayons, glue good paper and you can turn any room into a very warm, familial place.”

She continued, “My husband got me a sewing machine for my birthday. My mom grew up making curtains and pillows and everything, and it made our home very warm, so I like to do things like that with my daughter.”

Her baby girl is growing up quite fast, and on Wednesday (March 16) Halle Berry celebrated Nahla’s third birthday.

After spending time in New York City last week, and Miami over the weekend, the “Catwoman” actress returned home to Los Angeles and threw a small birthday party for her daughter at her Malibu beach house.

According to a People Magazine source, the house was decorated with pink, purple, blue and green “Happy Birthday” balloons.

It was reportedly a small gathering of just a few close friends, but daddy, Gabriel Aubry was not in attendance.

Making the most of the beautiful weather, Stephanie Seymour was spotted frolicking in a bathing suit in St. Barts yesterday afternoon (March 16).

The “Dawson’s Creek” darling and her cute little girl both looked lovely as they made their exit from the snazzy Upper East Side restaurant after enjoying some of their famous Frozen Hot Chocolate.

And of course, Ms. Holmes was dressed to impress, sporting a Nina Ricci top with a tank top from The Row and a Lanvin skirt.

Earlier in the day, Katie joined up with her design partner Jeanne Yang and hit up a Holmes & Yang preview event at Barneys New York.

Enjoying some bonding time with her baby boy Mason, Kourtney Kardashian was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills yesterday (March 15).

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” chick and her little guy dropped by a hair salon before doing a little retail therapy as the paparazzi looked on.

In a recent interview, Kourtney shared that she’s been playing with the idea of relocating from Los Angeles to New York City.

“We keep going back and forth. Scott [Disick] has had a place in New York since he was born, so we go there a lot. Now that we have a store in New York, we have a reason to go back. I’d love to be bicoastal.”

International soccer star David Beckham has revealed he and wife Victoria Beckham initially thought they were having a boy, but got some big news when they found out that their fourth child was going to be their first girl!

The 35-year-old told KIIS FM radio host Ryan Seacrest that he and Posh are both elated about the news – but hadn’t expected it after doctors told them to expect another son.

Becks told Seacrest, “It’s something we obviously hoped for, but obviously when you have a baby, [the biggest concern is] it’s healthy and everything’s good with the mom. But when you have three boys, you just kind of assume you’re going to have another one.”

The LA Galaxy hunk also talked about his future in soccer in light of his Galaxy contract having a quickly approaching expiration date. He told, “I haven’t thought about what I’m going to do – whether or not I’m going to continue to play, which I think I will because I think I can still play at the top level. I still love the game as I did when I was 21-years-old, so there’s no reason to stop yet.”
