Keeping a positive mindset after being shot in the hand in Haiti last week, Wyclef Jean recently opened up about the terrifying incident.

Of the happening, the “Gone Til November” singer told, “It was definitely a graze. The bullet didn’t go in or anything. There’s a lot to the story.”

He went on to explain that the wound was painful, “but it was more like shock and awe. They put in the anesthesia and stuff. The pain came after all that.”

Seeing the positive in it, Wyclef added, “It brought light to the fact that there was an election going on that day. I don’t think none of you all knew about an election in Haiti until everyone heard what happened to me.”

Having flown to his native land for an election trip, Wyclef Jean is recovering after having been shot in the hand in Haiti on Saturday night (March 19).

It seems Charlie Sheen isn’t the only one having a tough go of it lately- his ex-lover, porn star Kacey Jordan, tried to kill herself last night.

According to TMZ, the adult film actress tweeted suicidal messages yesterday that culminated in folks from the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago calling the cops.

Once police arrived, around 6:51pm, they discovered Ms. Jordan laying on her hotel room bed with prescription pill bottles, broken glass, and bottles of alcohol all over the room.

While talking with the cops, Kacey grabbed a corkscrew bottle opener and attempted to cut herself while running out of the room.

Returning to the west coast, Demi Lovato was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport yesterday (March 14).

The “Camp Rock” darling looked lovely as she strolled through the terminal, though it appears she sprained her ankle as she was wearing a brace.

And despite the fact that she works for the Disney corporation, Demi was seen enjoying some time at competitor Six Flags Over Texas on Sunday (March 13).

Lovato made sure to take time to pose for pictures and sign autographs for her fans, who she credits with helping her get through her time in rehab.

After surviving a serious medical emergency last week, Serena Williams headed to a Beverly Hills doctor’s office to check her progress on Wednesday afternoon (March 9).

A fearless competitor on the court, the 29-year-old admits she was terrified by the Pulmonary embolism and hematoma found in her lungs just days ago.

The former world number one said doctors told her that she most likely developed the life-threatening clots because of complications from surgery to repair a foot injury and the effects of constant flying, a regular hazard for all professional tennis players.

The hematoma was successfully removed by surgery and the 13-time Grand Slam singles champion is currently taking blood thinner medication while hoping to be back on the court again soon. She told, “I like having a challenge, and this will be my biggest challenge yet.”

On the eve of another courtroom hearing, Lindsay Lohan enjoyed her freedom with an afternoon out with sister Ali in Brentwood, CA on Tuesday (March 8).

The alleged jewelry thieving actress first visited a local medical building before grabbing a bite of sushi at Katsuya restaurant.

Due in court tomorrow (March 9) while facing felony grand theft and probation violation charges, LiLo’s camp is hoping that the jewelry store owners’ decision to sell surveillance tapes of the alleged crime to an entertainment news outlet ends up working in their favor.

Of the situation, Lindsay’s mom, Dina, told Radar Online, “Once again, celebrities are faced with the possibilities of their normal daily activity being filmed and sold without their knowledge and their consent, and our family is looking into formal legal action.”

Meanwhile, Mrs Lohan’s attorney, Stephanie Ovadia, added, “I’ve been contacted by the family, and we are investigating the situation and looking into the unauthorized use of an image, invasion of privacy, unjust enrichment, and other possible legal avenues.”

Certainly not helping their case in the least, the prosecutors trying to get the “Mean Girls” actress locked up aren’t all that happy over the selling of the in-store footage, as DA John Lynch said, “You like to present your evidence in the courtroom.”
